About the event

From little things, big things grow, and there is no better example than the responsible processing of our garbage. Organic waste will continue to mount up, negatively impacting carbon emissions, but waste recovery and management are changing the game.  Sustainable waste management is about the three big R’s (reduce, reuse, recycle) and ensures a circular economy.  Australia’s leading waste management company, Cleanaway, operates from over 260 locations nationwide and is one of Bloom’s Climate Impact fund portfolio holding. We are delighted to host them for our next Bloom Q&A portfolio spotlight.

We’ll be joined by Head of Investor Relations of Cleanaway, Richie Farrell, and we’ll be exploring:

  • His journey with the company and driving sustainability;
  • General, organic, e-waste, industrial and hazardous waste: what are the different challenges with each, issues and opportunities;
  • How does Cleanaway embed sustainability in its processes and company vision?
  • What future trends and opportunities will Cleanway benefit from?
  • What impact can we hope to make when we invest in Cleanaway?

Who is our Guest speaker?

Richie was appointed Head of Investor Relations of Cleanaway in April 2020. His responsibilities include establishing and expanding the company's relationships with sell-side and buy-side investment analysts, industry analysts, and investors worldwide. Prior to that he worked at Infigen Energy as General Manager of Strategy and Corporate Affairs with responsibility for strategy development, investor relations, government relations and corporate communications. Richie brings over 20 years of experience in systems development, environmental markets trading, strategic planning and M&A.
